North Pine SC – 2017 Gorilla Cup Champions

Last night saw out lads claim the 2017 Gorilla Cup with a 3-0 win over North Star. It was great to see all the supporters from all 3 clubs their to support their teams and it was a great way to cap off the night with the victory, hopefully the start for a successful 2017 season. Thanks to Gopher Coffee, Ready Movers and Shane King MP for also coming down and supporting the team, it is always great to have our Sponsors and Supporters there to support the club. Congratulations also to our Goalkeeper, young Dan Hyde for winning the player of the tournament, great effort.
Let’s hope this is only the start, well done to all involved.

Isn’t it about time someone started to reward people for training hard and gave something back to our local sporting communities? Our future champs are in local clubs and schools right now and we reckon they deserve great facilities.

That’s why we launched Amart’s Community Kickbacks, a community program that passes rewards back to your team. Open to all registered sporting clubs and schools, Amart’s Community Kickbacks gives clubs and schools the opportunity to earn rewards for their club. Click the above icon to find out how you can become a member and each time you shop at Amart Sports you just need to mention our club “NORTH PINE SPORTS CLUB” and 5% of your spend comes back to the club.   It is that easy.  Join now and help us obtain equipment for the kids.

North Pine SC in 2016 was successful in obtaining a Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grant which was put towards the resurfacing of our netball courts.  The courts had been there for a long time and over this time where slowly deteriorating and in dire need of repair.  Although we would have loved a bigger grant to complete a full rebuild of the courts, we are extremely happy with what we have been given.  Thanks very much to the committee for pushing this through, David O’Leary (The Grants Guru) and Shane King for the constant support.  We would also like to thank Jordon Sports for the work they have done on these courts, we are sure the netball families will love them.
